Cooking with Satan

Mostly known for being the guitarist & singer of the fantastic lovecraftian punk band Rudimentary Peni, Nick Blinko is also a cult figure in underground art with his intense paintings (Blinko was part of the Entarte Kunts 2009 in Portland, curated by Dennis Dread). It’s interesting to note that Blinko, who’s been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, create his pictures when not taking therapeutic medication which simply annihilates his creativity. By his music, his writing and his art, Blenko captures the true essence of the soul facing the great vast nothingness of space and time. A haunting sight of cosmic horror.

A promising event (is it the title that makes me say that?) in Long Island on august 15th with Wold including some live action by Collier Schorr, the guy who takes pictures of soldiers and athletes.

I really don’t know what to expect, there’s also a bear on the flyer. Maybe, even, I’m a little scared…
