Los Vaticanos was a kick-ass italian hardcore band from Rome that totally blew my mind when I discovered them on the “Crash Mandolino II” tape many years ago. They played some vicious hardcore flirting with grind and powerviolence with a very morbid atmosphere. Unfortunately, I didn’t find quite the same oppressive vibe on their LP, “Nerone 666″. And now that I’m thinking about it, the two tracks on “Crash Mandolino II” were even crazier than the demo. Shit, I really need to get these back. In the meantime and from hell’s entrails here’s Los Vaticanos demo tape.
